Strategic Planning, Training & Organisation Development Division
Strategic Planning & Training Division
The Strategic Planning, Training & Organisation Development Division (SPTOD) is the principal staff unit that provides support to the Director's office in areas ranging from organisation development, strategic planning and resource planning, media matters, foreign relations and training.

The main roles of SPTOD can be classified into Research & Planning (R&P) and Training.

Research & Planning
SPTOD formulates strategies, policies and action plans to chart the future directions of CAD and to strengthen our operational capability. SPTOD also monitors the white-collar crime trend together with CAD Intelligence Division.

Training
The critical training functions of CAD fall under SPTOD's purview. Learning is a life-long experience, and our staff are our most important assets. It is thus crucial to harness every opportunity to provide the best training for our officers so that the organisation will continue to improve and progress. Internal workshops are organised regularly to update our officers on the latest developments in the market.
