IT ALL boils down to knowing your enemy, understanding how he thinks and seeing patterns in the moves he makes. A pair of decorated police investigators, who practised these maxims to nab two groups of elusive criminals, picked up another award each yesterday. Station Inspector Rick Koh, who led a team from the Commercial Affairs Department and crippled a Nigerian crime syndicate last June, won a team commendation award. Station Insp Ishak Mohamed picked up an individual commendation for leading a team from the Choa Chu Kang Neighbourhood Police Centre to nab four loan sharks. They were among 162 teams and 207 individual officers, both uniformed and civilian, who were presented certificates by Commissioner of Police Khoo Boon Hui at a ceremony held at the Home Team Academy.
