A former salaried partner of fugitive lawyer David Rasif was hauled to court yesterday for his role in a conspiracy to cheat banks into giving out wrongful housing loans. David Tan Hock Boon, 40, faces 16 charges. He is accused of scheming with Rasif, Goh Chong Liang and others to dupe five banks and the Central Provident Fund Board into releasing higher loans than were needed between 2003 and 2004.
