The CAD International Economic Crime Course (IECC) is an annual event organized and hosted by CAD. The IECC is aimed at equipping new CAD investigating officers and police officers with knowledge and skill sets which are essential in commercial crime investigations.
This year, a total of 36 participants attended the course. Besides CAD officers and police officers from the various Police Land Divisions, there were also participants from several local agencies and overseas law enforcement agencies in the Asia Pacific region. This blend of backgrounds and experiences of the participants created an excellent learning experience throughout the two-week long programme.
In view of the cross-border nature of economic crimes in today's environment, such networking opportunities will go a long way in enhancing cooperation among the participating countries in fighting crime.
