Three Senior Executives Charged By Police and CPIB

Police will be charging 69-year-old Seah Say Yoong, CEO of Seah Holdings Pte Ltd and 37-year-old Chua Li Hoon Matilda, Director of Global Net Relations Pte Ltd for creating a false and misleading appearance with respect to the price of Wizoffice shares through trades executed in Seah Holdings Pte Ltd and Global Net Relations Pte Ltd, under Section 97(1) of the Securities Industry Act (Cap 289).

For 34-year-old Seah Chin Yew, ex-CEO of Wizoffice.com Limited, CAD is charging him for creating a false and misleading appearance with respect to the price of Wizoffice shares by facilitating the above-mentioned share transaction, under Section 97(1) of the Securities Industry Act (Cap 289).

In addition, CPIB will be charging Seah Chin Yew and Seah Say Yoong under section 477(A) read with section 109 of the Penal Code (Cap 224). Seah Chin Yew is being charged for abetting Matilda Chua by instigating her to falsify the accounts of Global Net Relations Pte Ltd with intent to defraud on two occasions. Seah Say Yoong is being charged for abetting Quek Suan Choo, an Accounts Clerk of Seah Holdings Pte Ltd, by instigating her to falsify the accounts of the Seah Holdings Pte Ltd with intent to defraud.

The three accused persons will be produced in Subordinate Court No. 26 on 27 Sep 2006 at 9.00 a.m. to answer the charges against them.
